Bill Nace is an artist and musician based in Philadelphia, PA. He has collaborated with a wide range of musicians, including Michael Morley, Graham Lambkin, Sakina Abdou, Twig Harper, Jooklo Duo, Evan Parker, John Truscinski, Thurston Moore, Chris Corsano, Jake Meginsky, Jessica Rylan, Paul Flaherty, Wally Shoup, Aaron Dilloway, and Kim Gordon, with whom he regularly plays as one half of the duo Body/Head. His newest LP "Plays the 2-String Taishogoto" is out now as a split release between Three Lobed Records and Open Mouth.

In addition to Drag City and Three Lobed, recordings can be found on Ecstatic Peace (Northampton, MA), Ultra Eczema (Belgium), Holidays (Italy), Throne Heap (VA), HP Cycle (Toronto, ON), as well as on Nace’s own label Open Mouth.

John Truscinski is a drummer based in Southeastern Connecticut. Over three decades, core collaborators have included Bill Nace (x.0.4, Glass Band), Jake Megisnsky (Slaughterhouse Percussion, x.0.4), and Steve Gunn with whom he’s released 5 albums as Gunn/Truscinski Duo, along with featuring on Gunn’s solo records, and various other common projects (Desert Heat with Cian Nugent, Glass Band, GHQ). Numerous collaborations have included Kim Gordon, Daniel Carter, Joe McPhee, Chris Corsano, Pete Nolan, Magik Markers, and others. In 2020 John released his first solo album Bridle Path, on Nace’s Open Mouth Records.

KIDNEY CLUB

Kidney Club is the hobby project of Aidan Conway, featuring whatever revolving door of musicians are present. In the past, Kidney Club has had iterations as an improvised acoustic duo and a bass n drum duo, and currently leans towards solo acoustic tunes that intertwine sludge with folk melodies and dissonance, doing occasional home recordings.
