ANIMAL HOSPITAL  (Boston, MA)

"Animal Hospital is Kevin Micka's one-man musical recording/performance entity... During performances, Micka buries himself in a pile of electronics-shelves of effects, mixing consoles, amps and delay units-while patiently constructing a layered nest of loops consisting of guitar chords, scrapes, chucks, chimes, and melodies resulting in anything from more conventional songs to meticulously crafted ambient movements on to full on improvisation."

Jill Burton (Gainsville, FL)

Jill Burton is an extended vocalist and movement artist who incorporates energy work into her music and performance art.  Considered by LaDonna Smith (Improvisor Journal) to be "...one of the great foundation improvisors of America...", she has a particular interest in sounding the architectural features and acoustic properties of a room and the people in it. Trained in classical ballet and music from a young age, she also began spontaneously improvising very young, and never stopped. She has worked with many and varied musicians, dancers, and theater artists, from around the world, in many genres, always specializing in experimental performance and free improvisation.

Andrew Eisenberg (Boston, MA) & Loren Groenendaal (Philadelphia, PA)

Flandrew Fleisenberg plays percussion on an assortment of everyday ephemera and modified drum parts that he has reduced and eroded through a process of playing and breaking them. A graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a focus in conceptual art, he is musically self-taught and has developed a cadre of idiosyncratic techniques that are all his own. Flandrew has been involved in the improvised and creative music community since 2001 performing solo, in ad-hoc improv groupings and in set projects. Additionally, he organizes an ongoing series of performances at the flopera house in Boston
